Rod weights for Powell CB rods

Does anyone have the weights of the following 3 Endurance models.
706 CB Glass
724 CB Glass
726 CB
I'm thinking of purchasing these from TW on the next sale and would like to compare the weights to my existing cranking rods.

I got the weights from Powell. They are:

706 CB Glass - 6oz
724 CB Glass - 4.2oz
726 CB - 4.1oz

I weighed my 724cb glass and it's no where near 4.2oz, try 5.8oz. Not sure where Powell came up with these weights.

I agree. I also thought that the difference in weight between the 706 and the 724 was excessive. I asked them and the answer I got was that it was due to the 706's " larger diameter and that it is a heavier action rod" I have asked them to check the weights again. 5.8 oz for the 724 and 6oz for the 706 makes more sense. I will post their response if I get one.

Keith Bryan of Powell responded to my mail and apologised for the incorrect weight given for the 724 CB. According to him it is between 5.2 and 5.6oz. I am impressed that he responded to my mail so quickly and on a Sunday as well.

All I know is after 4 hours of fishing my 703/Conquest 101, my arms are sore.

FWIW I just had my 726CB on my digital scale at an even 4.25 oz. I can't speak to the weights of the others but it has to be close.

Thanx for the info. The other two are glass rods so one would expect them to be heavier.
