Cumara Crankbait Rod
Cumara Crankbait Rod
I just ordered a Cumara Crankbait rod (7'0" MH) and was wondering what experiences people have had with it!
I've never felt one in person so I'm hoping it'll pair nicely with my Calcutta TE200GT!
I'm thinking about it using it for spoons for steelhead in a few weeks too.

I've got a gen 2 MF worm and jig. Have you held the rods before? The handle is a love it or hate it thing.

I didn't like it at all...Ordered one (crankbait rod) from Tacklewarehouse earlier in the year and returned it the next day. The ascetics or the rod and build quality was good though. I try and avoid split grips to begin with but got excited about a new rod and thought I'd give it a shot...just not enough grip by the reel. Hopefully you love it because there's lots of positive reviews on them!CGrinder wrote:The handle is a love it or hate it thing.

I agree that the grip takes a little getting used to but after I fished with mine (7'9" umbrella rig) a few times I don't even notice it anymore. They're really nice rods, I plan to pick up a few more myself this winter.
