Another budget rod that i have to try, just order a Kistler Pro Series Heavy 7'3 Fast Casting Rod. As i was told for those who are familiar with their Carbon Steel series, the Pro Series is a refinement of that blank with Cork handle, Marco guides, and Lighter from the previous late model blanks. Only downsize is that this rod is made in China & inspected to a full extent in Texas, which i don't blame them for such a competitive rod market.
