Such an amazing stick.

893 and 873 CRR are my second and third favourite.

but then again, the 802s is such an amazing jerkbait rod.
I finally bought an 804s xmr! Wow!! I can second the thoughts of SteveSchmelzle on this one. Fantastic rod.

893 is the only one I got, its a great sensitive rod.

If I was going to get another nrx I think I would be going for someting lighter like a 852.

804xmr has become my favourite rod I've ever laid my hands on.

Too bad it costs over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS Canadian to buy another.

NRX's are being discontinued (or simply not sold) here in Canada due to their increased pricing.

I just bought mine, but it has already handled some big 7-10 lbs bowfin and 6lbs bass. One of those rods after using the very first time I thought, "dang I need two of these."

I would say the 893c for its all-around versatility. As others have mentioned, it also seems to have that "it" factor that is hard to describe.

As an angler that fishes from shore most of the time and on a boat once in a while, the 854C was my pick. Paired with a Met '13 with 30lb braid has been a pleasure to fish with. I've heard of so much positive feedback regarding the 893C, but I didn't think it would have been a practical shore fishing rod and also, it would have been challenging to fit a 7'5' rod into a sedan with a baby seat and baby gear in the back. Prior to my first and only NRX, I owned a BCFR 894C GLX and also the BCR 854C GLX. The tips on those GLX rode were so stiff compared to the NRX and surprisingly, there's still lots of bottom end power on the NRX. I'm really enjoying the rod. I've also used it for frogging duties and I've been happy with that dual function performance.
The GLX rods are pretty light on their own, but comparing to the nrx, it's surprising it's even lighter, but still has a good amount of power.

Even though I REALLY been enjoying my 893 the past few months with senkos & trig, I'm going to have to vote for the 852c. One of the lightest & most sensitive, versatile rods in the lineup. I've started off tournaments throwing a megabass jb, by noon a 1/4 shakyhead & later in the day a 3/16 drop shot. This IS a co anglers dream rod & must have in the back of the boat. I've made the most $ with this rod than any other nrx model. Paired with a '15 aldebaran, this combo eliminates the need for me owning a sissy stick/fairy wand
3 years later & my new favorite is the 873

901S for swimming marabou
872S for tubes

My all time favorite sticks for those presentations. In my hands. I owned a LOT of spins from the lineup.

Smallies of course.
Team flannel, overtime and promotion.
