X2...like em better then my Steez XT. Plus now have the 2 different Frog Rod choices. I believe the 7 foot MXF is the Best TRUE 4" type shaky head rod made for the 1/16 to 1/2 oz range....very sensitive and still lots of backbone...has landed me a 6+ and a few 4's in the short time I have had it....much more sensitive then the 1st Gen.

Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Casting Rods - $229.99 to $259.99
Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 6'6" Medium (1)
Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 6'6" Med Hvy (2)
Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 6'6" Heavy (1)
Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 7' Medium (1)
Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 7' Med Hvy (1)
Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 7' Heavy (3)
Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 7'3" Med Hvy (2)
I would not find this normal levels for TW IMO.
This and based on Ryan's comment is what had me curious.

As compared to what other models? compared to what other mfgs.
These models must be selling good....
They are just down the road from daiwa...so they can replenish quickly...None of the other rod suppliers that they carry ever show more then 3+. And most other retailers that SELL (not inventory) these Zillion rods or pretty much any $300+ rods are not carrying inventory...but doing direct ship from Vendors.
I am just pretty protective of seeing what looks like a troll and un-credible rumor about a specific model going away based on an uneducated guess on a retailers inventory...that eventually may cause others to look at other brands. When the Steez EX and OG zillions were going away...staffers could not get them...monthes before they were announced or inventory's showed on sale at TW.

Nothing was trolling about my curiosity and asking. I truly didn't know which direction they were going in.E73Bass wrote:

I don't take kindly to being called a troll ... Your fancy wording and thoughts makes you a no better person or higher authority in the tackle world than any of us here.
If you want to flex with info or your opinion ... don't do it with my comments please ! Find someone else to irritate !
I've edited this post since I've had time to cool off about it.
I will stand by this though ...
If you cant be courteous or understanding then just don't say anything at all !

Thanks guys ... I think I'll be moving forward with the 7' MH.21farms wrote:my experience as well with several other models of the old and new zillions. the new ones are among my favorite rods.Chode wrote:don't have the 7'MH but i had/have the previous & current 7'M and based on my experience, the new version is lighter, more sensitive and true to rating. the older version was heavier than rating by maybe 1/2 power. hope it helps
I'll be pairing it with my SV 103XS. It will primarily be used for 3/8 to 1/2 T-Rigs with 15 lb. flouro.
Good to hear about rating and sensitivity.

Personally ive always felt these rods were superior to the dobyns dx line but the new hp series is a different animal altogether.E73Bass wrote:jpd0144 wrote:OK ... correction to TW inventory on the: Daiwa Zillion Worm/Jig Rod 7' Med Hvy (1)
