I would prefer the LE, I have the 6'6" but the 7' would be just as sweet with maybe a little slower tip than the 6'6" like capesmallie referred to the 872 and 852, not sure as I haven't fished the 7' version.

I prefer to use the NRS 803S in weeds and grass. It has more backbone for getting the fish out of cover. 852S in open water.

The 803s definitely has more power than the 852s....

I used that rod for two seasons until I broke it hauling a big bass out of the weeds...

804s xmr was purchased after that - no issues so far.
