MBR 843 GLX for Silver Buddies/blade baits ?

Post by ncbass » Mon Sep 15, 2014 8:25 am

Any of you fish this rod for blade baits ? Looking for some input, thanks. Also thinking my MBR 783 GLX might work too.

I still use my MBR 842 GLX for blade baits 1/4 to 3/8 and pick up the 843 for 1/2 and 3/4 oz.

Yes...match up your line type accordingly. Not much different than "yo-yo'ing" a lipless rattlebait, and the MBR 843 is one of the best for lipless rattlebaits, no matter how you fish them.

For water deeper than say, 20', I prefer a longer rod than 7'0".
