NRX 893 vs 894 backbone

Post by DavidSA » Wed Dec 31, 2014 2:20 am

Giving the 894 a great workout down on Okeechobee this week. How does the backbone of the 893 compare to the 894? The 894 and MBR844 not overpowering fish in the grass at all. Wondering if the 893 would be taxed in the same grass throwing the same senko.

By the way, burning speed worms or tossing Senko's the NRX894 has performed very well. No sense that I am loosing fish because of the stiff tip nor is distance lacking throwing a 5 inch senko.

I've fished my 893 in some mats and it wasn't too bad. Around grass or reeds I think it'd be ok
