Nrx 916C Swinbaits?
Nrx 916C Swinbaits?
Just pick up this rod a month ago for swimbaits. I don't know much about this technique but this rod was on sale so I bought it. Does anyone here tried it with hudd's or glide baits? Will you consider this rod a good swimbait rod? I'm trying to have a set up for big baits. Thanks

I have several of these rods and they do fish swimbaits well. However, from my experience, I don't like throwing anything heavier than 6 ounces with it (even though the rod is rated up to 8 ounces). The rod just feels underpowered to me at that lure weight.

I'm going to give the Huddleston swimbait rod a try for baits 6 oz up. I'll probably use the 916 for lighter baits.Lucky Craft Man wrote:I have several of these rods and they do fish swimbaits well.
