What... the.... I thought you were just joking about the rods being in Canada. Literally the second largest sportsmens show in the US is going on right now and G.Loomis a US based company isn't even showing off these items there??? Hmmm.... maybe... they did a North Korea when I last visited them and I've been all wrong about the company after all and Shimano is really running everything.... Ahhhh. So much for their unveiling at ICast

It seems to me that Shimano/Loomis is really bringing the heat this year, with the E6X and Zodias both coming out at such a great price point.

i haven't owned shimano/loomis products in prolly 10 years...they just didn't really excite me. the new lineups of both look like winners to me.

take a look down the 1st page of the reels forum. there's not much mention of daiwa there, and this was a notoriously d-heavy board for years, myself included. seems like after the new zillion was released, it's gotten awfully quiet.

That's a good thing. More competition and newer (and hopefully better) products. Everyone pushing the bounds and hopefully accelerating the planned production cycle a little faster.
