I have a Power Versatile and like it a lot. Rod is a beast. Use it for frogs, and swimbaits. I have plenty bottom contact rod so I haven't tried jigs or plastics. I have thought about getting a second one. Rod has a good tip with moderate action, and would work for cranks. Great rod for Lake Guntersville. I have some X 7's and Phase 3's, but I thing my PV is my favorite rod after my Big Taper Super Griffon topwater rod. :big grin:

I also use mine for frogs and swimbaits and it works great. Now it is also a great rod for soft plastics, pitching jigs, and senkos also. The name says it all power versatile and this rod is very versatile. I've used it for crankbaits deep diving crankbaits also. Haven't punched with it yet but I might try this weekend. Glad I live in Florida so I can fish when the rest of the country is freezing.
