Shimano Expride EX173MHPF

Hi guys.

Does anyone fish with this rod? Shimano Expride EX173MHPF - 7'3" MEDIUM HEAVY

I'm thinking if it could be good to fish with soft plastics an jigs

It's a pretty good rod for Texas rigs . It has a pretty soft tip which surprised me since its labeled as a pitching rod. Well I am sure it would be good for 3/8 jigs in open water it does not seem like it would be good woth jigs in any kind of cover. But I have only fished Texas rigs on it so far
