Anyone use one here? I'd like to know what you throw with it.. And Is it rated correctly at 1/4-1oz?

I don't have that rod but judging from other Daiwa lines with those specs I'd say single hook presentations are what will work with that stick. The length screams spinnerbait/buzzbait/chatterbait but it would also be a good bet for jigs and worms for those who like a little shorter rod for close quarter work.

I have that rod, and I use it as an all-round casting rod. The rod is sensitive for me when fishing with jigs; it has good backbone, and it's very light. I haven't tried anything below 3/8oz, so I can't really tell you how it does with less weight. I had no issues with +3/8oz so far. I also used chatterbaits with this rod, but I haven't caught a single bass yet on chatterbaits yet lol. I will try fishing with frogs this Summer, so hopefully it does well on that

That's my T-Rig rod. It's very sensitive and lightweight with a sweet tip and plenty of backbone. It seems lighter in power than other MH daiwa's, like the 711MHRB or 711MHXB tatulas, for instance. It'll blow your mind for weightless-3/8th oz t rigged creatures and worms because it casts them so effortlessly and accurately, you almost always feel the bait get taken before the fish feels you because of the soft tip, so you can let them take it before you engage the backbone and let em have it. It's also good for 1/4-3/8th jigs, but the 711MHXB or 721HFB are better suited for jig duty. It balances perfectly with a tatula type r or zillion tws. I also like it for 1/2 and up jerkbaits. You just can't go wrong with any of the original tatula rods. I'm sure I'll wind up with the entire line.

Does it throw 3/8oz spinnerbaits well?

I had that rod. BEST bang for your buck rod. Super light and sensitive. I used it for close quarters jig and t rigs. I love the reel seat as well.

I upgraded to a Steez AGS. I figured if a 150 dollar rod from Daiwa is this good, I wonder how their 575 dollar rod feels.

very well, it's primarily what i use mine for along with chatterbaits and buzzbaits. great all around rod, don't know about the top end of the rating at 1 oz, but handles up to 3/4 well

Yeah, it's great for that, too. I like mod fast rods for that, but I also use braid pretty much all the time, too.
