Corzza's 50% off again at Plat
There are around 6 or 7 models this time averaging about 72.00.
I picked up 2 BFS Corzza's and a Benkei for 309.00 shipped. Sale just started.

I think there is a ul casting rod in the group that is on sale. My home river is crystal clear, I use finesse gear almost 100% of the time, the two BFS rods will be used for light cranks and a ned rig.
The total for those 3 rods including shipping was 309.00. I think shipping was 56.00.

Awesome find. Thanks for sharing.
Anyone know how the Corzza compares to the Volkey?

they are similar MSRP, since they discontinued the Volkey, the Corzza seems to have replaced many of its offerings.

oh yeah, meant to say "thanks" i guess, wife said to give you the middle finger
saw your post and $200+ dollars later i have not 1 but 2 corzzas headed this way along with 2 interesting looking wakebaits i saw on the site! i was looking for a new spinning rod anyways so the 692ML looked like a good one for what i was wanting. i had the 6'5" UL BFS rod in my cart and when i went to check out it was sold out.... so i went back and snagged the 6'7"L BFS which i plan to pair up with a curado 51e with the yumeya bfs mg spool and some hedgehog air bearings. should make for a pretty good duo!

Is this a good rod to try as far as a first JDM rod? Are there good 2-piece rods these days? my experience with them hasn't been great. I'm looking for a finesse casting rod, and 50% off is hard to argue with.

I used to absolutely hate 2 pc rods.....until I started fishing Major Craft rods. I can't tell that they are 2pc, so yes, they've made tremendous advancements in 2pc rods.

Cool, that sounds like worth a try. I'm trying to work out what my options are, or whether this will be an impulse purchase. I suppose worst case, I've got a pretty good travel rod... Would you know how their power ratings run?
Crud all that's left is the 6'6" M. Is that what i'm looking for anyways? All my current rods are either MH or H.
I'm looking for something on the finesse side for very small t-rigs (5" u-tail worm + 1/8) , weightless senkos, short-er range drop shot + shakey head, ned rig.

Give it a few days, they will likely re stock. I kept checking back after I missed the last 672L BFS rod and a few days later they threw 7 different rods up there.
