At the moment, I'll spend up to $300 on a rod. Plenty of good offerings in the $200-$300 range. Although I would like to see what all the hype is with the higher end Megabass rods! Maybe some day... [-o<

I'll pay the $400 for St. Croix Legend Elites (have 3), but that's my ceiling.

I've been all over the board when it comes to buying rods.

I'm a total rod and reel junkie with no wallet to support it so I slowly accrue gear over time. I'm planning on getting one or two combos a year with this year being a MB carbon head rod and a Steez so far. Thinking of picking up the new St Croix Legend Extreme sometime before summer because I love AGS rods and carbon fiber.

I feel most comfortable in 250-300 range but if there is something more expensive I really want and I can afford it I will get it.
