I haven't seen the "official" release date yet, but I do know that it's going to be very soon. As soon as I have information that's 100% accurate, they will be posted up on The Tackle Trap website for order, or pre-order as it may be. My guess is that they'll be shipping in February if everything goes well!

I don't have a answer but noticed today during Zona show with Seth Feider on Mille Lacs, Mark was using the GLX 892s for tubes. Rod looked pretty impressive, the 892 will definitely be in my boat come spring.

Agreed sir. I've been waiting patiently to add the 892S to the NRX smallie quiver.

How deep are you guys going to fish tubes with the 892? I'm not sure if I want the 2 or the 3 power yet for tubes.

Got my GLX 822S DSR today and sadly i'm a bit disappointed. 3 of the guides are misaligned. Also, with the reel mounted at lockdown there is a 3/8" gap between the front cork grip and the moveable rear lockdown plastic (by comparison my NRXs have about 1/8" gap). If holding the rod with 4 fingers in front of the reel then this isnt an issue in terms of comfort. However, i often only have 3 fingers in front of the reel, which leaves my pinky sitting in that large 3/8" gap....bummer

This ones going back :(

That shouldn't be happening with that handle. That should be flush together.
