None, other than the painted blank for the green one.

Just color, although I have 3 843 NRX, 2 blue, 1 green, and find the green to be more sensitive than either blue side by side with same reels and lures :-k

Green paint transmits vibrations very well. much better than blue paint.

I would chalk up any differences to individual variability in single blanks, not to the color scheme

I post that because I have heard others say(without ever using the rods) that the painted blank will be less sensitive and heavier than the blue that isnt painted, which is not the case at all. When it is a night and day difference, and is extremely noticeable, it definitely gets your attention. Just sharing my honest results, since I have lots of experience using these rods side by side. I don't know why the difference is there and don't care, but it's there. The results may surprise you!

The difference is one has been discontinued and the other has not.

I have both types, different rod types so I cant speak to sensitivity... But, I do think that the green finish is more durable...and looks cooler

You could indeed be missing out if you bottom bounce. For moving bait applications, I don't think you are missing anything.
I think it possible that other brands are catching up in the raw sensitivity game with the NRX. so the soundbite from the internet in 2014 may no longer be as accurate but common knowledge has not caught up.
