G Loomis customer service

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the awesome customer service from Loomis.
Yesterday out of boredom I decided to fish in lite rain and almost immediately slipped on some wet rocks. I went down hard on my GLX spinning rod and cracked the end of the rod. This morning I called Loomis and within 10 minutes they were shipping me a new generation GLX for $106!

Yea! They're really good with that! I'v broke my GL in the car,by accident,after just send it to customer service,and got a new one.

This is actually my second GLX I am having replaced. The first one, 3 years ago got snapped in a car door.
I'm very excited to be moving up to the new generation GLX model. From what I've read on TT it's a good deal better than the last generation model.
BTW, it's a GLX 6'8 802S JWR.

i use that rod, in the nrx model, as a jerkbait rod.... as well as pop-r rod...

love it for both those techniques.

I have always found their service to be top notch. You get what you pay for and as a long term investment, they don't end up costing that much more.

Broke a nrx 895 on a hook set (throwing frogs ...large pike). Sent the rod to Loomis...new nrx within one week to my door. Great folks...great customer service.

My new generation GLX arrived today! A two day turn around is amazing, and I used the standard ground shipping.
