6'6" version of the old MBR 842 GLX

Post by y2k88 » Fri Feb 02, 2018 9:19 pm

Just wondering if anyone's come across a rod tht would fish like the 66 version of the MBR 842C GLX (10-17 lb).
The one I have is the older model with the ECS reel seat.

Dobyns, Phenix, Kistler, etc.?

Tried the 782 GLX and 783 GLX of the same generation, and they are nothing like the 842.

Trying to look for the link to an RDA website, but no luck.

Just curious, what are the differences in the feel of the older 782 vs. 842 GLX?

The 782 felt like a power to half a power softer. The 783 felt half a power more.

The rda data that i saw afterwards confirmed that, but can't find that site anymore.
