I am looking for a new spinning rod and I’ve always enjoyed my Kistler baitcaster rods. I am looking at the 7’ Helium 3 medium and medium light. Do you have a preference over the other? I don’t have a local shop that carries them to go feel them for myself. I am afraid the ML may be a little too limber, but like I said I haven’t played with them in hand.
Uses will be shaky head, ned rig, and throwing smaller sminbaits on 1/8oz heads.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Kistler Helium 3 Medium vs ML Spinning
I have a Helium 3 ML and that is what I would go with, it will work perfect for all those applications and its super sensitive.

I would agree... I have the 7' med and its a powerful stick. ML seems to fit your applications, especially if you are using braid to fluoro.
