st croix rod help

hey guys i was wondering if any of you had any experience with the st croix legend elite 7'6 mh mod fast model. im wanting to purchase this rod for deeper water applications/ light flipping. i was just curious if it was a decent caster for swimbaits on jig heads or is it pretty stout and meant for just flipping.

Oh...lucky you. I built a custom on this blank.

Its a very versatile rod. I used it for light punching, jigs, frogs, smaller swimbaits...pretty much everything.

The mod fast taper is nice. It got a good backbone as well. I like the rod.

I am taller and I prefer longer rods so, me using a 7'6" rod for many techniques is comfortable for me. If you are shorter or prefer shorter rods for general applications, the 7'6 MHMF may be more of a 1 trick pony for you.

thanks a lot kenobi yeah im 6'6" so i am also on the tall side of things sounds like im going to have to get it lol.
