Between my GLX845 cbr and NRX893. Probably better numbers on the crankbait rod, but better quality on the NRX with a beaver and a 1/4 tungsten weight. BUT I sure love pitchin a jig to cover with my NRX894.

I caught my pb 6.4 limb on a Shimano zodiac spinning rod paired with an older c4 and 8lb Berkley 100% flouro and a TRD tied to the end.

It also caught 30 in 2019 so far. Lol
This is such an underrated rod. I have two and have tried many Tatula Elite models this and Ish's Frog rod stands out for me. Oh and Fieders Hair Jig/Neko rod. But I saw a TackleWarehouse video of Ehler's about his 2019 rod lineup, he didn't even mention it. I'm a big fan of the action.

The rod that caught the most for me in 2018 though was the NRX 893 like so many others it seems like. The Ehler 7ft m/mh was not too far behind though.

That Phenix M1 7'2 Medium spinning rod was the one that caught me the most fish in 2018. 2018 was the year I put in the time to work on my finesse fishing, and it was fun for sure.

I'm right there with ya on the underrated part....Seth Fieder is the only one that I've seen giving the rod any love and he was using it to fish jigs in grass.

Probably either Alpha Angler Zilla or Kistler Z Bone LE4. Swim Jig rods did some damage this year

For me it was diablo spec r gen 1 xx or conquest 843 with a jackhammer chatter. Chatter was blowing away my bottom contact techniques every place I fished in 2018 and is already my number one producer again.

The 7'1" MH Shimano Cumulus. The Cumulus/Core 51 combo always has a 1/4oz t-rig tied on...usually a baby Rage craw.

No question it was my G-Rod Pro Bass 7MH-F by a mile. Mostly because there isn’t a technique it can’t handle with either bottom contact or moving baits from 1/4 to 1-1/4oz. I really wish they’d get their inventory & distribution issues resolved. They’re so focused on launching their Fly rods they keep selling out their limited inventory Pro Bass line. I’d love it if they offered their JDM line of Special Edition Pro Bass rods here but if they can’t keep the standard models on the shelf, that’s probably never going to happen. I look every day on the TT classifieds and the BBC boards for guys selling theirs and have yet to see one for sale, that’s says a lot.

JDM good looks, amazing blank, titanium & SIC guides with unbelievable power and excellent sensitivity. Plus they’re all under $380, makes a winning combination any way you look at it...if you can get your hands on one, lol

Daiwa Generation Black V2 Short Bite Special 603LFS, now discontinued. Probably around 75% of the fish I caught in 2018 was with this rod.

That’s probably the #1 rod I hate that I didn’t get, shame it got discontinued

Amen. It holds a special place in my quiver. I literally may cry if anything ever happens to it. Lol.
