I got curious and looked, they have a very strange line up of bass rods and I can’t even begin to understand their kayak line.

Their blanks are excellent, but the factory designed rods, not so much.

Can't beat the used tackle market!

A guy walks in our shop with a Phenix Mirage mf771-1 and says he wants to sell it and some other rods... so I bought 3 different rods for $20 each. I looked up the Phenix and it retails for $230. SCORE!

However, even though it is a nice rod with titanium SIC guides and all - it is an ultra-light in my world. Very ultra-light.

One thing that bothers me with it is the tip is not on straight, but I'm not going to mess with it. I've been looking for a rod like this one because my Morgan & Morgan lawyer I fish with wants it now, and I owed him $150 from the last case, so you know, this $20 investment will make that last case disappear- cheaply too. On to the next case!

I was thinking about giving up one of my rods until I found this one... Planning on fishing it some before handing it over... also just finishing up a Shimano Stradic 1000FH to go on it for him... so thanks for the suggestion...

Power Tackle Rods! Built on North Fork Composite blanks and seeker blanks for there cranking models. They also use Fuji blanks as well which have been dynamite very sensitive strong and durable. Made in Richland Springs Texas by two very good people small but both are of the owners are awesome to deal with!

Sure hope the ones mentioning Kistler are correct and it fishes better than it feels. I got my first the H3 7'3"LMH and just with a reel on it holding it in my hand it leaves me wanting more and not all that impressed for a $300 rod that I paid $213 for. Right now though feel like posting this in the over rated thread. Final judgement TBD.

I've never used Kistler or Lamiglas, but I have to say my Damiki Dark Angels fall in this category.

Haven’t seen much about Ark. I like their Tharp series for the money.

On paper they sound great! They don't look bad either. What are F-Ring guides? I've never seen that before. They're blue.
