I like the MBR tapered rods for 1/2 oz spinnerbaits.
I use the 7'6 MBR 903c E6X

I think the Loomis 843 is the standard. The new glx reel seat bothers my big hands, but I think I'm in the minority.

You are not the minority.. I was not a fan of the new reel seat as i found it uncomfortable as well, and sold mine off.

It's not great on "size medium gloves" hands either. But in my case it's fixable with a single wrap of self-amalgamating tape to keep my finger off the bottom edge of the locking collar.

A shame for sure. I would have a quiver of them if the seat didn't bother me. I've always been a glx man.
