New mid range budget casting rod

Post by Thurin90 » Sat Aug 31, 2019 7:50 am

Hi guys. I recently bought a new zodias spinning 7mxf and that kind of screwed my old casting rod. It's a n8 blackout mh-xf. I'm looking for an all around rod with some more sensitivity.
The options I'm looking into are:
Shimano expride 6'10 mxf or the 7 mf (around 250€).
Daiwa steez ags 701 mf (240€)
G Loomis imx-pro 842c sbr 6'9 (310€).
Will use a Shimano curado dc for reel.
Which one do you guys think it's best for the money? I'm in Europe so I put the currency in Euros, but for discussion purposes let's say the price is the same in us dollars.
Are there any options that can be a little better for this price range?
Thanks for the input and happy fishing.

If that's the actual price for the Steez AGS my vote goes for that no doubt.

It's the European version. Don't know if there is something different from the US version, but I've heard good things about the rod. Those and the expride seem to be all the hype now in the mid range.
The Shimano poison adrena should reach the European market at about new year. That should retail for about the same as the steez. Anyone tried one?
That could be a option too if it stays at around the 300 price.

Why? Did I do something wrong or that didn't comply with the rules? Sorry I'm new in the forum.

Maybe those prices reflect differences in cost post import into Europe, but in my opinion you’re getting the most for your euro on that list with the steez ags.
