Top Water rod for 1ozers

I use my Hyuga 72H but would probably use a H Valkaryie if I had one. Those blanks are great reaction bait blanks but are still deceptively powerful.

One of my local shops has the 7'1 heavy valkyrie in stock for full US price. They've had it for almost 2 years and no one has bought it. I want it so bad but I could just order the same rod from japan for $150 less. Maybe I should make them an offer on it since its been sitting there for so long.

Right now I use a daiwa airdx 7' heavy for bigger topwaters.

If they are an authorized retailer then that $150 price difference could be seen as the cost of a warranty. Do something dumb in that period and you get a new or equivalent rod.
