One of my local shops has the 7'1 heavy valkyrie in stock for full US price. They've had it for almost 2 years and no one has bought it. I want it so bad but I could just order the same rod from japan for $150 less. Maybe I should make them an offer on it since its been sitting there for so long. :laugh1:

Right now I use a daiwa airdx 7' heavy for bigger topwaters.
If they are an authorized retailer then that $150 price difference could be seen as the cost of a warranty. Do something dumb in that period and you get a new or equivalent rod.
