Just looked today and the G Loomis/Shimano Conquest is $695?? Anyone know the reason?

2020 price adjustment. Look at the other series, pretty sure they were all going up this year.

I see TW price already reflect the increase.

Couldn't let St. Croix have the highest priced rod on the market.

$695?! You can get Ultima’s in 700sh range, RD’s just a little above it.

My conquest is one of the best made rods I have and that is saying a lot since I own a few Megabass rods.

I have read a few reviews about sloppy epoxy wraps on the NRX but mine are all pretty good....

My conquest rods are perfectly fine in that department.

My NRXs are perfect.I used to prefer megabass aesthetics over G loomis but I now prefer the more simple look and finish of my NRXs over any megabass or JDM rod.

I absolutely love the blue on the NRX rods

None of my 7 nrx's have shotty threadwork. From reading this board, I assumed I just got lucky. Sure I've seen seen pics, but bad wheels squeak loudly, and you never hear the good ones.
