Megabass Valdivia or Wild Bunch?

Post by mthao105 » Sun Mar 29, 2020 12:18 pm

Hey TT,

I need a versatile heavy powered rod and was considering between the Megabass Wild Bunch and the Valdivia. Looking to do a little bit of everything with the rod from frogging, pitch/flip, light arig/swimbait and jigs. Not looking to excel at a particular technique, just well rounded enough to where I can bring one rod. Any input on the rods are appreciated. Thanks!

sounds like the wildbunch is right up your alley

It’s an extremely versatile heavy rod

I’ve thrown frogs to 6inch magdraft on mine

Yeah I’ve throw Texas rugged worms on it. It did just fine.

It’s a super light versatile heavy rod.

It’s probably best for swimjig frog and swimbait

But also fine for bottoM contact I’ve got other rods I tend to grab and usually have this one rigged up for something else but if I was looking for 1 heavy then this one does a lot
