All purpose spinning rod

Hello, long time lurker first time poster.

I'm in search for an all purpose spinning rod (I prefer spinning gear) I've never spent much on rods before, but looking to buy something higher end to me.

The two rods I've been looking at are the Evergreen Combat stick 7'1 MH and Kister Helium 7'0 LMH (I'm able to score this rod from a friend for $200.00 never used) I'm curious what members here think of the above two rods and if I should look at any other rods in the $200.00 price range.

I like getting “deals” so between the two I’d go with the Kistler since you can get the Evergreen all day long for $200.

Good point. The Helium deal isn't something I can come by every day.

I would pick up the Kistler for that price.

Last I checked The Tackle Trap have some St. Croix Avid X rods below $200 also, and a few other brands if you contact Brian.

A few other online retailers had Daiwa products for 20% off.

Well I almost certainly will pick up the Kistler.. only problem my eyes wandered to another rod. I’m considering the Megabass Orochi XX Enforcer. Anyone out there that can speak to that rod?

I haven't fished the enforcer but have fished and owned rods in both series one and two orochi XX line ups. You will like them.
