This is gonna be a fun topic. As an obvious answer: I would imagine limited edition rods tend to hold their value. Also rods like steez racing designs, which you never really see for sale used, probably hold their value

Any high end rod typically will hold its value but I’ll never pay retail. I see guys all the time selling some used high end rods for more or equal to what I can get them new. There’s deals out there to be had. However there are some rods where getting a deal just doesn’t seem to be much a option

G Loomis hold value, and are regularly bought and sold on Ebay and forums.

Depends more so on the market at the time of selling imo. Evergreen as a whole doesn't seem to vary much in selling prices. For the US market, I'd say higher end Shimano. I've seen selling prices move up and down rather drastically over the years.

This. Less so when there's a new version of that rod model, of course - particularly when the blank got an update. As long as a high-end line doesn't get a blank update you can sell them for good money even after years. But if G Loomis comes out with a fully updated NRX series, and the blank receives universal acclaim, it'll be harder to sell your blue NRXs at the same price as you can now.

There IS a new NRX coming. Just thought I would pass it on.

I heard the same
Any mention on price?
I maybe able to save money by contacting the and paying to have the rod balanced from the factory.
