Megabass Destroyer Valdivia can handle frogging and light punching well.
I agree with M Perry. I’ve used my Valdivia for frogs and for light punching. Worked well for both.

The Valdivia replaced a broken Orochi F6-72X4 Destruction (good thing I have two more), which I’ve also used for frogs and light punching. (I wish I could find another one).

A good choice at a medium price point with best quality I would recommend is the 7'5" heavy Shimano Zodias. It casts, works, and pulls fish in a powerful yet lightweight rod to reduce fatigue. It is accurate for a long heavy rod as well!

It will fit the need of punching, pitching, and flipping into heavy cover, fish the heaviest weights, and handle big fish!

It excels at frogging and flipping but also shines as a 3 arm A rig rod, long distance fluke rod, oversized topwater baits, and great for swim jigs in heavy/weedy cover!
