Travel Rod Help!

Post by mthao105 » Thu Jun 18, 2020 3:47 pm

Hey TT,

Lately I've been looking for a higher end baitcast travel rod. I have the orochi xxx travel spinning rod and it's awesome. I wanted the casting version in the black elseil travel, but seems a little too light in power for my needs. Are there any other options out there? I looked hard at the triza 5 power, but they seem to be all out of stock also. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You'll have to double check to see if these are still around, but here are a couple:

I have two of the G. Loomis Escape 3 piece travel rods (spinning) and they are awesome.

they have several baitcasting models including some heavier options.

Bone Fishing makes the Voyage series. On my short list is the 634BFS and 724MH

That is also a great rod. I wasn't aware they were still available. Does many things well.
