Bantam Rods...?

Have tried to search both on here and wild card style on Google for the Bantam range of rods - and specs and people's thoughts?

Have managed to secure a second hand Bantam 170M-2 - from which I acquired the Metanium MGL from.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are of these "such expensive" rods and why such little talk of them?

I checked them out a few times and just seem to go back and buy an expride. They seem so similar in looks and build but not 100% sure. I have not seen much chatter on these either. Same with expride……literally no reviews anywhere

I think their nice rods but unnecessary in the shimano lineup. Fit and finish is comparable to the first gen expride. Slightly nicer blank. I had the 6'5L bfs model, pretty much identical to my 6'5L expride. Couldnt justify keeping it, my expride takes care of business.

With an msrp not far off the poison glorious might as well go for the glorious

Hmm for $250 AUD I think it's a no brainer - realised it'll match my Bantam MGL.

Got it, not a mark on it, clean cork, both rod wraps, and bag and all paperwork. Man I wish we got a chance to get these in Australia for a decent price... Build quality is beyond expectation.
