The new Alien seat thats on the Fenwick HMG and the Berkley Lightnin' Rod are awful. They feel, well, alien.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I will agree with this, too. Personal preference, I know, But most split reel seats hurt my hand after a little while.

I’ll join your sentiments. The NRX reel seats/handles/hook keeper were the biggest reason I got rid of mine.

You think shiny plastic is bad then try low effort plastic or even ultra low effort plastic. Doesn't even incorporate the foregrip into the locking hood. It just has the base hood and then a fore grip as separate entities then then expects that to be considered normal instead of cringe. "yup this happened yup"

Still looks and feels better then 90% of loomis and stcroix offerings. That seat feels and looks sharp on a the Lightning Rodshoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 11:10 amThe new Alien seat thats on the Fenwick HMG and the Berkley Lightnin' Rod are awful. They feel, well, alien.

Ill take that ECS seat all day. Its my favorite, assuming there's no foregrip and the threads are trimmed so none are exposed. That's why I prefer custom rods.LowRange wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 7:51 pmYou think shiny plastic is bad then try low effort plastic or even ultra low effort plastic.
