Most of my customs and a few of my factory rods are counterbalanced.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Yes on my 843, 893, 873. But not on my 802. I even have one on my z bone

I don't use any sort of counter balance. I have a SV103 on mine. I'm one of the few who is not bothered all by the balance of the 894. I've pitched 1/2 oz jigs with craw trailer for hours at a time and do not have an issue with my hands or wrists getting tired.

2019 Morethan on mine with an additional weight in the butt section. Balances now perfectly and is still within the realm of acceptable weight.

Wasn't bad enough to add weight, 985 how that's a different story.
