I had the GLX 822dsr and I was in love with that rod! One of my favorites for neds and light swimbaits. How does the Expride L+ perform?Thunderblack1984 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 7:15 amMan, love spinning rod threads. I'll pick my top 3 this season

Out of this world indeed... I love mine.
Steez AGS 76MML is bar none my favorite spinning rod available in the US domestic market. Paired with Exist LT 3000CXH =
The new P5 Landsat is also a nicely versatile, super light, very sensitive spinning rod that is very impressive.

I had a 820s I really liked too. Expride L is very similar in action. It has some power to it if needed but sweet rod for everything. Not just bass.esvangler wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:23 amI had the GLX 822dsr and I was in love with that rod! One of my favorites for neds and light swimbaits. I'm still not sold on the Megabass lines.. i haven't played with any of the P5 models, but maybe I'll have to give them a chancebronzefly wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 7:23 amOut of this world indeed... I love mine.

Megabass Hedgehog 2015 F4st-69RSDti is my favorite spinning rod. It's very sensitive with an ultrasoft tip. It works great with bottom and moving light baits. My second favorite is NRX 822 DSR but it's more of a one trick pony than the Hedgehog.
Re: Finesse spinning rods.. What's your first choice?
i have had the steez for 2-3 years, cant remember exactly, i got it when they first came out with the 4.8:1 version. its one of my favorites, its smoother than my exist, a bit lighter and hasnt had a hiccup so far! i like it better than the ignis and its about even with the 19 certate. i have debated getting another steez vs another certate, the certate is a bit less expensive so im going that route.StymoDe wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 7:24 pmCanga can you share how do you like 2017 steez reel vs. other reels you mentioned? sorry this is not rod related but I have my eyes on steez spinning reel just found very little info... I don't have exist but do own Ignis type R and Certate both 16 and 19. on the book Steez has Zaion body, oiled ball bearing and no magseal, wonder how it performs on the water and over time.Canga- wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 6:56 ameither the megabass destroyer flyssa or a st croix legend elite 6'10" mlxf. my flyssa has a 2017 daiwa steez on it, one of my elites has a 2016 daiwa exist, the other has a 2014 daiwa ignis type r. when i get around to it ill be getting another 2019 certate to put on one of the elites and put the exist back on my destroyer phase 3 aaron martens limited!
any feedback is appreciated

love it! im getting another one from japan soon (probably). i wish they offered the 5.2:1 in the states, but only the 6.2:1 in the 2500 size is available here.esvangler wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:18 amThose are some bad ass rigs man! Re: Finesse spinning rods.. What's your first choice?
My favourite finesse rod isn't as high end as some mentioned here but my Tatula 7'6" MML is absolutely awesome for Neko rigs, which I use a lot for smallies here. I have it paired with a '14 Caldia 3012.
My second would be my 852 GLX. So far, I only have one fish on it, but the power and taper are spot on and it's beautifully balanced with a Twin Power 2500S.

I just picked up the cork tatula M/ML 7-6 last week. Rod is super impressive for the price. I have fished a lot of rods and for the money this one is the most impressive for the cost. Made me want to buy more than one which never happens.adam lancia wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 3:15 amMy favourite finesse rod isn't as high end as some mentioned here but my Tatula 7'6" MML is absolutely awesome for Neko rigs, which I use a lot for smallies here. I have cork tatula 76 mml and steez ags 76 mml and imho the only difference between the two is weight, balance and the big one- sensitivity. Otherwise, they are very similar sticks and both should have the same lure rating.
I actually landed a pretty big kitty in the lake Michigan surf with 76 tatula and 6lb fireline.

If you like the Tatula cork 76MML, try the Kage 76MML (technically a walleye rod)...WOW!
Re: Finesse spinning rods.. What's your first choice?
Kage rods look interesting for sure. I think they all have stinger tips (?)
I have been eyeing the 7'1" ultralight.
