SLX rods

Post by hotdogin » Thu Sep 08, 2022 6:09 am

Been out of the loop for a while, weird how babies occupy all of your free time, but I still stalk all the jdm sites regularly and TT. Any who, just wanted to get some feedback on the Shimano SLX casting line. One of my local shops is running a special of 3 for $100 and figure it might be a good opportunity to get back out there.
just hotdogin it

Are they the new models or prior ones? Not that it matters, for that price, I'd grab 3 if you just need rods to get out there. That price seems like a steal. I fished a buddies slx rod, old model, once. I thought it was fine for the price, but 3 for 100! Damn!

I thought the old ones were bulky. The new ones A's have that cross taping = much better.
slip bobbing is the laziest way to fish
