MBR782C GLX?

Is the 782c lighter in power vs the 842c?

I have the 842c with a metanium and use it primarily for 110jr's.

I ordered a 782c and hoping it will cast smaller
Jerkbaits in the 1/8 to 1/4oz, most the time 1/4oz

The reel used will be a Curado BFS.

Can't speak for the GLX but I have a Conquest 782c and its great for jearkbaits up to about 3/8oz. I've tried Megabass 110's on it and a bit too heavy for for it.

I have the 782 conquest spinning rod, agreed with the above.

I noticed the 802 glx has a lower lure rating but have heard its stiffer than the 782 glx???

What Loomis spinner do you guys throw 110's on? 842S is rated to 3/8 oz. but seems like it has the power. 843S? Been trying to figure this out with the odd lure ratings.

Got the 782 glx and ended up with a Aldebaran bfs on it.

What an amazing combo, the Aldebaran also matches
the glx blank...its

I had a chance to handle both the 782 and 802 and
I'm not sure how gloomis came up with their lure weight
Ratings, but they should be changed between these two rods, the 782 should have the 802 ratings and the 802 should have the 782 ratings.
