St. Croix Physyx Rods
Just stumbled upon these this morning. ALF has them in for preorder.
Looking at the price point, are they replacing the LTB series?

St Croix's answer to the Poison Adrena. Surprised they didn't copy the monoque handle like everyone else.

I would love to meet the psychopath who design rods for Croix

Imho, St Croix hasnt made an aesthetically pleasing rod since the brown blank Legend rods with the bronze marbled ECS reel seats.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I mean there's "aesthetically lacking" and there's St Croix's abominations...what were they thinking??hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 9:21 amImho, St Croix hasnt made an aesthetically pleasing rod since the brown blank Legend rods with the bronze marbled ECS reel seats.

Well not all engineers are artists.
This does intrigue me and how a two handed casting method would be altered. plus or minus.
They shouldn't use that hook keeper. I always hate how it snags stuff. Not often but once in a while it does.

I had one of those brown LE's....they were sharp. I think Croix is having a hard time right now. Quality control issues are abundent and rod styling doesn't seem to fit their target market imo.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 9:21 amImho, St Croix hasnt made an aesthetically pleasing rod since the brown blank Legend rods with the bronze marbled ECS reel seats.

They lost me when they replaced torzites with cheap guides and acted like nothing happened.

For 370 USD , that is an ugly looking rod I can get a 24 Poison Adrena for about 233 usd and it is much nicer looking rod. When you buy St.Croix, you pay for warrenty
