Frog rod reel

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

2009 STX-HS I've used for the last 2 years & it's worked absolutely great. I've used it with 50lb braid(PP in 09 & Sonic in 10) on either a Magnesium JigNToad most of the time or a LTA 7'6" XH if it's in the really heavy stuff.

Last year: Pflueger President 6.3:1. Too slow.
This year: Curado 201DHSV. I like the size of this reel for frogs... no idea why, but it seems right to me!
