Daiwa's Most Beautiful Reels, You Decide.

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

IMO, the gold PT10 wins by a nose; its rounded front finishes its lines more elegantly.

X2
- beautiful reels!!!

While many of the older Daiwa reels look beautiful, I find that present day Daiwa is busy making some of their reels look futuristic. The Daiwa T3 Air is one example.
Moreover, the "Steez" logo looks more like a tramp stamp than the mark of a fantastic reel, which I am sure it is (I do not own one).

I like the more simple looking reels...

Those reels had the original "T" wing style splitting level wind. Daiwa just seems to have modified an 80s design. Those old reels still are beautiful. I can still remember paging through the older BPS catalogs with my dad (which I looked forward to doing every year) and seeing these reels. I still have some old BPS catalogs pretty much from 1978 right through current. I am only missing a few years.
