Your favorite reel out of box no upgrades

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

X2. Picking just one, The Calcutta 100DC. This reel needs absolutely nothing done to it to be a killer fishing machine. The CQ 50 would benefit from a bearing upgrade (amazing out of the box, but bearings do improve performance). Calcutta 100DC doesn't.

I'd say it's a tie between the 2nd generation Premiers and the Calais DC.

Z, Calais 100A/Antares AR and TDX-HSDF 103...each in their own right.
