If you could have just one reel

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

If you could have just one reel

If you could only have one reel what would it be? If you could choose just one and price was no object?

I thought about naming some out there high dollar reel, but I'll take Gen 3 STX & fish the hell out of it without giving myself a complex worrying about dinging it.

Z200L/Z2020L, little heavier than the Steez but more versatile. I can do pretty much anything with mine

I agree with Zimbass, Calais DC 201. I thought really hard about my Stella 3000FD as well.

+1. I own a lot of nice reels, and it's hard to top the 200DC for overall performance. The only knocks on it are the weight and that the chrome finish is cold in the winter. But nothing does it all better, IMO.

Conquest 51dc. Problem is, I can't go with just one!
