Shimano Curado 50E

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Are there any of last years green reels NIB left? Ebay just has pretty much silver units.

Thanks,

Pukey

I got one off Amazon in October. I'd try there.

Maybe just go with the the Cronarch 50E and get 2 extra bearings that come standard?

As above mentioned, Chronarch 50E. If you're not in a hurry wait for the sales and you can get one for $150-$160 NIB. If the Curado 50 is what you want, google it, it will bring up lots of pages.

The Chronarch 50E has the bigger, paddle knobs where the Curado doesn't.

Sorry but only the Cu 50 E will accept an extra bearing per grip by swapping out the bushing.

New Chronarch E the posts are machined to accept only one bearing per grip.

From what I've seen the Curado E's are still mostly listed at the original retail price or just a touch less. I would just just shop for a Chronarch and try to save a few bucks. I have seen a few on here for fair prices.

The Chronarch has a few component upgrades, both great either way.

SHIMANO,...... Here I am LMG. Bought a Curado 50E about 5 weeks ago NIB off Ebay, from a guy in Louisiana who had 6 to sell.
Got mine and watched the other 5 disappear in about 3 days.

Now you need some Boca o/s spool bearings and a Hawg Handle, and your good to go.
