Your Next Reel Purchase?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I am getting a Shimano Stella 3000 off of a friend of mine for a really good price as it's unused. Using it on my NRX852 tube rod...I'm sure I'll find more uses for it :P

Finding out tomorrow what model it is, he bought it 3 years ago. Might be the FE or maybe the older FD. Regardless that is my next reel purchase. Then I am looking for reels for a 782 and 843 MBR IMX's :D

Ive been stuck for about a week now trying to decide between a Conquest 50 or 100 ...

Im wanting it for light to small cranks but just know how well rounded the 100 is after owning the CQ 100 DC for a while for med. crank work but then sold it. Believe it or not the DC sound just bugged me ... ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Probably a righty Daiwa Lexa for people I take out so they can use a rod and reel if they don't have one.. 8-)
I need 6 more rods though and bought that sick Gold IZE reel..

Chronarch or a Core 50 for finesse.

Want the core and will try to pick up a used one eventually.

Another Chronarch E. A bit better than the Curado G and I like the white. Just bought two Steez 103HA's and will be using them for S/B's and jigs. The new Chronarch will be for plastics.

A lightweight, oldschool Daiwa in good used condition. Either a TD-Z or an Alphas variant.
Going to put it on a custom GLX SJ842 for shaky heads/small jigs & plastics.

Decided to do some spot upgrades in the lineup this season, so I'll be getting a couple Lews Tournament Pros and at least one BB1.

Keep trying to convince myself to do more, but can't come up with a compelling reason to put some of my current reels (Scorpion 1000s and some upgraded Curado 100Bs in particular) out to pasture just yet.

I'm still looking for that Shimano Chronarch 101D7 in pristine condition, at a REASONABLE price ](*,) Not sure what it is, but I HAVE to have it. Kinda strange really. I haven't been real keen on any of the new stuff for a few years now. I have a Curado 51E, and that's about the newest reel I have. Oh wait, I did get a Lews and it's a pretty nice reel, but every model is black! Some colors would be nice! Whatever, I'm still rocking my Fuegos and Zillions......and I am a :D camper

Exsence DC to get firsthand impressions of X-Ship gearing, the expanded i-DC+ tuned braking, and how they engineered the frame to allow for rinse & dry maintenance...

ABU LTX with shallow spool and a new Daiwa Aegis 1003 to go with my new Blazon 632ULS.

Will also be hunting down some Fuego and Patriarch XT baitcasters for my new 13 Fishing Envy and Omens.
