Your Next Reel Purchase?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I’m seriously considering the CQ 101. I with it had X-ship like the new Calcutta. Anyone know if they plan on introducing x-ship or any of the upgrades they made to the Calcutta line to the Conquest line. I would hold off buying one if the upgrades are a real possibility.

i just got a core 51mg7 2 days ago for finesse so it's probably going to be a long while until i get another reel.

i do really want a chronarch 101d7 like hogsticker2 for heavy saltwater usage

Pretty sure I just bought them. ITO monoblock XRL and a Shimano Vanquish c2000s. Both are very pleasing just now, especially the Vanquish!

Just picked up a Hardy Zane and put a 8wt bass line on it so I guess I'll be using that in the summer throwing poppers for largemouth and chasing river smallmouth with wooly buggers… OH "Real bass fishing" lol… it will hopefully be a Core 50 or Stella 2500. I really like the Stradic Ci4 3000 though. Wouldn't mind the new Certate either

YOU'VE NOW CONFUSED ME ](*,)

One of the last reels I've upgraded was a curado 50E, I have two, one is stock and the other has the 7.1:1 gear ratio gears in it. I've gotten myself a new rod coming, its custom my first one thanks to you guys. That may be it for a while, but I would love to get me another jdm reel. I have a metanium but I'm going to wait for ICAST to see what comes out this year.

Was not planning on any new reels this year. Until Tackle Trap had their sale on the Lexa so I just had to buy one. \:D/
