Was planning on getting a Shimano Sustain 2500 but I saw and bought a Daiwa Ballistic 3000SH for $66 from Amazon. It should be getting here tomorrow. I hope it will be at least as good as a Stradic FJ. It's pretty much a blind purchase and it better be an upgrade from the Pflueger Supreme MGX that I currently use and don't really like as much as the Pflueger Patriarch that previously had.

I bought some jackals from thut and they offered some great deals at checkout. Picked up a 2500fj for $130 not mind blowing but a good deal non the less. The Fj is very solid.

Just picked up here on TT a Megabass Zonda68 to match with my MB X4 OneTen stick. Already thinking a Zonda10 for my GLX 855 CBR if I give the Zonda68 two thumbs up.

This year I have picked up a TD-ito 103HL, Zillion PE, two personal order TDZ and a steez. I want a TD-A.O.I 103HL still but can't find one. Maybe a Type R 103 ML project reel maybe. Haven't decide yet I will see what Japan tackle has.

TD AOI is as difficult to procure, or maybe even more so, than even the Deps Zillion (for Daiwa reels of that genre).

if i can find a good price on a 2nd generation stx, that will be next. at tax time i'm hoping try out the new premier (i love gen 2 premier). the icvb has me intrigued, though if i can find a tdz type r for close to the same price i'll have to call an audible.

I've been toying around in the pool throwing that Sustain and man that's a sweet reel. First tournament of the year is tomorrow, so it's going to get some work.

So far just the reel I got last week in a cash/trade, the Shimano Stella FB 3000. What a piece of work that reel is, love the craftsmanship can't wait to fish it on my NRX852S JWR. Next reel is a Core 50Mg7 for my NRX893C JWR, then it's rods and well another reel
