I'm looking to buy one of these. What is a fair price for one in good condition?
Your thoughts on the reel?
shimano chronarch 101b
Re: shimano chronarch 101b
If you do a search there is a review done.
Just like the review says I've recently started using them for reaction baits.
I am using on for squared billed cranks and traps. I have the bpv for cb on a medium
action rod and love it. They are amazing casting reels. You can use it for plastics but
again after reading the review I switched up and it was a great move.
Now some don't like the ergonomics but I do so it comes down to you and what you like.

Re: shimano chronarch 101b
It has been hard for sellers to get more than $150 for that reel (although most are right handed) in mint condition. I had seen many sell in that $125 range in "average" condition. I think it's a good reel, ecspecially for moving baits, but it doesn't have the sentimental followers like the "A", and simply was not as good as the "D" for a multitude of reasons...because of this, it has seemingly always been a buyer's market for this reel.

I bought a 100BPV a few years ago and it was sweet. I just sold it $100.
I bought a brand new 100B for $120 at a tackle store last year and am keeping it!

I won an eBay auction for 140 shipped in very good condition. Just wanted to make sure it was a fair price.
Thanks for everyone's input.
