DAIWA ITO AI MAIN GEAR

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

DAIWA ITO AI MAIN GEAR

Hi guys.

Had a spring let go in my ITO and it went through the reel gears :crying:

Its a bit rough and grindy now even after reel has been freshly stripped, new bearings and serviced with hot sauce and still its a bit rough. Nothing more i can do without replacing a few things

Now the reel question comes, where can i get another ITO AI main gear?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First off you're gonna want to replace BOTH the gears or you won't be happy.

Secondly I'd assume that there are some USDM gears that would fit in that reel (I don't know daiwa's lineup well enough myself to know part #'s).

Was looking at original Ito Ai set but if they fail to turn up then the 6.8 will do me.
