What's your top 3 reels of all time?
Re: What's your top 3 reels of all time?
As the saying goes things change over time. Right now my top 3 are:
2014 Conquest 101
Monoblock (any and all)
Conquest 51

Alphas (because of its customizability and palming)
Antares (new model, it's just that good)
Conquest (no need to explain)
I would consider these the best reels for its time.. I consider the Metanium a step above the Alphas but it wasn't available when the Alphas was out. The Alphas platform is definitely one of the best for its time!

Hate to have to agree with a Safrican, but I would go with these too

Calais 100A - very smooth after years of use and does everything really well.
Scorpion XT1000 - love the form factor and is still very smooth after 4 years of very heavy work
Stella C2000 - great spinner for finesse work with 4-6lb braid
All of the above have been used in both salt and freshwater.

You know we right!
I have a 14 Conquest 100 on it's way from the land of the rising sun. So that list might change.
